Confess
“To tell or make known; to acknowledge sin to God or a priest “
Seems like it would be easy to do, however there was a time, I choose to be absent in my faith, yes
I realize that God never left me, but I sure ignored Him. Confess wasn’t a word that came readily to mind or something I wanted to do; I thought I was happy in my sinful life.
Boy, did I ever get that wrong!
Oh, my how times have changed, and I could not be happier to walk and talk with Him again.
Like me, I am sure you have many conversations with Him and confess freely our faults and sins,
I know He forgives me, and can’t help but love me, but there is even a greater feeling when
I present myself to a priest and ask for absolution of my sins.
What an abundance of grace we receive when we reconcile ourselves with Jesus and the priest
sends us out with a blessing.
How Great is our God!
” If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
