"to make a search or inquiry”
Love these words from Jeremiah 20:13
“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with your whole heart”
Over the last four years, I must admit I have done a lot of seeking.
The scriptures are always a good place to start, spending time (quiet time) with God
fills not only the mind but the soul.
I also found that spending time with faithful and holy people brings me into the presence of God.
I know most of us don’t see ourselves as Holy but isn’t that what God wants us to strive for and to help each other to obtain.
You get to truly know them when you spend time with them, yeah, they may have their faults,
but don’t we all.
However deep down inside you know them, you can feel them,
their effect on you and your thoughts is real.
Holy, is the presence of God, acting in others.
Love the closing line in the Litany of Humility
“That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.”
