GIVE
“To convey to another - to transfer one’s authority or custody.”
There is much written about giving, and we are taught at an early age to give, to share.
There are times I wonder how well I have done, giving or sharing.
It is easy to reflect on what we have been given, but do we realize the many and varied
ways we give… Give to God, Give to each other, Give to those in need, Give our hearts,
Give our tears, Give our joy… okay you get the picture!
Some days I feel I have not given anything… on those days I am reminded
of the greatest gift giver of all, God the Father.
“For God so love the world that he gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life” (John 3:16)
Abba, Father open my heart so that I may pour out your love, and give generously!
