TEMPLE
“A place devoted to a special purpose." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
“Do you know that your body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body”
I must admit that it wasn’t until recently (last several years) that I realized what Paul was speaking about in this Scripture. Hard to imagine that I am a Temple, a presence of God. We keep house with our God, he is dwelling within us, filling us, and a part of us. He is Present, always! Individually we are the church of God, when we gather to celebrate mass or pray, we magnify the presence of God.
And there is more to come as John tells us in Revelation 21 and 22 I will let you read that for yourselves.
May my Temple be always pleasing to you God!
and may I always rejoice and glorify your presence!
