Weekly Prayer

Prayer to St. Joseph, the Worker

O glorious Saint Joseph, you showed us the value of hard work and duty, knew the responsibilities of providing for the Holy Family, and had the Son of God as your fellow worker. Teach me to approach my own work with patience and perseverance, for the glory of God and the good of my family. Grant that I may see in every task a share in God's creative activity and Christ's work of redemption, and find pride in doing my duties with thankfulness and diligence. Help me to remember the importance of order and peace in my labor, and when work is burdensome, to offer it up to God in reparation for my sins and the sins of the world. Through your powerful intercession, may I always find joy in my labor and serve others with charity and compassion, seeing Christ in each of them. Amen.
