JOURNEY
“An act or instance of traveling from one place to another.”
I reflect on all travels and the journeys taken in my life, journeys
of discovery, new countries, new people, new beginnings, short ones, long ones,
ones with joy, some with sorrow, some that I didn’t plan.
All of them memorable, but the ones that stand out the most today, are the
journeys that I have taken with God. Some of the best journeys occur when you go nowhere
and spend time with God. I’ve enjoyed those mountain top moments while away at retreats.
This Lent has given me new insights, filled me with blessings
and is leading me even closer to Him.
“Make me to know your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God
of my salvation, for you I wait all the day long” (Psalm 25:4-5)
Lord God, be my pilot and take me to new heights thru your love!
