CONSUME
“To engage fully.”
Never really thought of the word this way,
more of a focus on eating in my mind.
I can think of times I let anger or other worldly
things consume my time, which really didn’t have
a good outcome for me.
I also know the times now (seem to be more frequent in my life)
I let myself be in, and feel the presence of God, where nothing
else really mattered, I set aside the noise of the world and let myself
be consumed by His presence.
“For indeed our God is a consuming Fire” ~Hebrews 12:29
Jesus, let my consumption be only you!
