Transformation
“An act, process, or instance of transforming or being transformed”
I would imagine that we all went through our first transformation at Baptism, most of us unfortunately don’t remember a thing about that day.
Nonetheless, God transformed us from darkness to light, by removing our original sin, and welcomed us as His children.
From that day forward, it was up to others and us to continue our transformation.
I hope God is grading me on a bell curve, otherwise I am not sure I would have gotten a good grade most of my life! But, that is the beauty of our God, he is patient with us and allows us to experience
the good and the bad, with an overwhelming desire that we find our way to His light and love.
I am working hard on the renewal of my mind and actions and surrendering to the will of God.
I look at St Paul, talk about total transformation…His words ring true to me
and I welcome the journey.
“So, whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away;
behold, new things have come” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,
that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.”(Romans 12:2)
Abba, Father…keep me on the path, allow my mind to discern your plans for me,
and make me one with You!
