Evil
“Morally reprehensible “ "Sinful, Wicked”
I have no doubt that we all could add to the definition of this word. I found myself
wondering why I was given this word to share, then realized unlike many
of the words shared already, this one is constantly BANGING on our doors.
How many times have I been fooled by the whispers of the Evil one, led unknowingly by those who
twist the truth into lies to accomplish their evil intents.
I ask you Jesus, to shed light on all those who call evil good and good evil!
Bring them all out of the shadows, expose them, and protect us from their desires.
Remember, evil is the absence of God’s order, beauty and love.
I turn to St. Paul once again (has anyone noticed he is my favorite)
“Let Love be sincere. Hate what is evil: hold fast to what is good.” (Romans 12:9)
Jesus, let my love for you, conquer the evil around me!
