LOVE
“A feeling of strong attachment induced by that which delights or commands our adoration” “Due gratitude and reverence to God”
And all these years I just thought it was that wonderful feeling I got when I looked at my wife!
…Ok, John, FOCUS!
When was the last time you told Jesus you loved Him?
I have asked this question before in an open letter,
yet here I am reminding myself to make sure I tell Jesus I love Him, almost a year later.
I need to make it happen daily. I am getting better but seem to
reserve most of those love words for Adoration.
Why does it not roll off my tongue, I feel His love every day, several times a day,
He can’t help loving me, as He shares in this scripture,
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: abide in My Love.” (John 15:9)
See I told you, and He loves you too!
and He has passed it along to us, “We love because He first loved us.” (1 John 19)
And one more:

Jesus, I love you, with all my heart, consume me!
