REPENT
“To turn from sin, and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one’s life.”
A little follow up to yesterday, John also told us to Repent. Knowing we are all sinners, we are reminded by John that repentance is another form of preparation of our souls, giving everything to God and seeking His forgiveness
There are times I feel I am stuck in a revolving door,
repenting for the same sins over and over.
Why do I not turn a deaf ear to the evil one?
To the whispers of the evil one?
Jesus, You are Love,
Forgive me!
Therefore, repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. (Acts 3:19)
