We’re reminded that the work we do for God isn’t about us seeing the results.
As the quote by Robert Louis Stevenson goes “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.”
Our job is to give opportunities for God to be God by leading others to Him when we throw seeds of truth, love, inspiration and support to take root. Yes, we want to continue to nurture them, but we don’t control all the outside elements they will experience.
The good news is, we don’t have to fix everyone or have all the answers. We share the word with those on our path and God takes care of the rest.
Don’t concentrate today on what the outcomes of your relationships should be, but simply be the one who gives others the best chance of finding hope through faith by throwing seeds.
